Definition of large format console?

Out of curiousity, is there any accepted definition or definable characteristic of what constitutes a large format console?

It has been bugging me reading through manuals that seem to use the term wrongly or in a contradictory way. If it's a bit of a free for all then I guess that's fair enough

I don't think there is an accepted or standardized definition.

fwiw, to my mind a large format console is defined not by the number of inputs, but by the inclusion of at least the following:
- a Master Section that includes multiple monitor outputs, multiple 2-track returns, and comprehensive TB facilities
- >16 Tape Returns [sic] either as part of a Producer's Desk or as inline monitor returns (aka, Small Faders)
- >16 mic preamps
- 8 or more buses (not including Aux Sends)
- 4 or more Aux sends, at least half of which are selectable pre/post fader
- a meter bridge that simultaneously monitors at least every bus output, master, & solo...plus preferably every input strip

Bonus points for integral patchbay, stand, and redundant psu.
