Is loudness metering spreading?

AES this year has a lot about CALM act compliance and loudness measurement.

Is loudness measurement spreading further into broadcast Post, and outside broadcast into MI, games and Film?

If it isn't, it should be. At least the true peak metering part. A true peak meter would've probably helped me when I was mixing music and a mix got rejected by a radio station due to "modulating" when my levels in Pro Tools were just fine.
