Help, Cable Advice

Hi what cables would i need to connect Dynaudio Acoustics BM6A's to a Mackie 16-8. I understand the BM6A needs a blanced xlr female connection. So would a "Female XLR to Balanced TRS Jack" work ? would it make any difference if the jack were stereo or mono? i'm a lost cause when it comes to cables, forgive me.

thanks for any advice given.

Yeah, you wanna make sure the pin config is right for the Mackie.

Tip is usually pin 2, ring is usually pin 3 and sleeve is usually pin 1. This should be commercially available.

The 1/4" is gonna be Tip/Ring/Sleeve, which can be used for stereo, but in a balanced cable, it's just a TRS since it's a mono signal. A mono connector would get you an unbalanced connection, which may work just fine.
