how to find original key with soundshifter?

Does anyone have experience with Waves Soundshifter?I want to shift my song (project) but i want to find the original key

Beats me how you can make an original song and not know the key ...

With pitchshifting, everything is relative so I don't imagine it makes a blind difference what original key you say it is in. If you want to shift up 1 semitone then tell it it's in the key of C and your destination is C#.

Just try it and see - you might get lucky.

yep kiwi now i understand as well that with pitchshifting everything its relative.
should start record everything from the beginning for the favourite key
