Production question

Would anybody recommend very slightly increasing the speed in the choruses of a song recorded to a click track with a DAW timestretch facility as a way of making a recording breathe more realistically? Or would it degrade the audio?

There was an interview with Nico McrBrain of Iron Maiden who said he varies the tempo of different parts of the songs to add some dynamic.
You have to listen for yourself if it affects the audio noticeably if you do it itb.

Don't know how would stretching already recorded tracks react and sound but I know that lifting up few BPMs at the ending of a rock song in drummers click track while recording means a lot for dynamics and feeling. Sounds great.
