Yellowtec PUC2 LITE

i have been looking for a way to connect my Benchmark ADC1 to my laptop without buying another soundcard with features i do not need. the Yellowtec PUC2 LITE (Yellowtec: PUC2 Lite) would seem to be an answer. AES-3 out of the ADC1 into AES-3 input of Yellowtec then out via USB to laptop. has anybody any experience with this unit or method? am i missing any obvious compatibility issues? the Yellowtec is USB powered (uses two USB outputs to get enough juice).

really? i've struggled to find anything, good or bad. as the unit is only converting one digital standard into another, i wonder what the problems could be. what have you read that was bad?

Bad comments? Interesting. Fred Forssell just told me he recommended it for his converters...

This is a very in-depth review:
