Jay,

I was talking about the 2 bus compression.

Anyhow, I understand what you're saying. I having little experience in the mixing buisness (not enough exerience to be confident enough)

The GS.com stamp will definitely be on this release

Everything sounds great and I think I can now STOP mixing.

Thanks for the replies.

i started with live to 2track recording..still love the exitement of that....today with protools hd and large track counts unlimited processing and editing..it is actually hard to stop...but like a painter knowing when the next brush stroke is wrong..sometimes it's hard to know when you reach the limit of diminishing return..i find myself overmixing all the time..but i keep all my session files so i can go back...if analog i print . the best mixes are the best recordings on the best music with the right arrangement..

I start a 10 song album mix tommorow that goes to mastering on Friday to make a christmas schedule.... guess its time to shake off the dust
To give you an idea of the world I'm working in, my clients expect a finish mix in 30 minutes to an hour. That's tough!
