Best connectors and best place to buy bulk amnts.

I know the usual suspects, Switchcraft and Nuetrik, any other good quality connectors out there? Gimme a list of your top 3, in order.

I'm looking to buy about 50-100 each of XLR, TT, 1/4" balanced and unbalanced. Where's a good place to buy from with good service and price?

They'll have all of the Neutrik stuff. And I can't recommend Neutrik connectors enough.

I always use neutrik - it would help if you said which country you were in if you need advice on where to buy.

bumping an old thread

I've found that Mr. Patchbay sells connectors for about a dollar cheaper than Redco. If you need to buy 96, this is, obviously, a significant difference. Is there any reason not to buy them from Mr Patchbay?

Matkertek

$1.99 for A3Ms and A3Fs

I could show you many Nuetric XLRs that have failed.
#1 The white plastic part that the backshell screws on to eventually breaks.
#2 The plastic material on the part that holds the pins melts after re-use.

I have thirty year-old Switchcraft and Cannon XLRs that I still use.
I have re-configured some three or more times.

What about TT's? Seems like we have a ton of XLR and TRS but are scrambling for new TT connectors. Redco is the go-to? We've done some Markertech, but it seems pricey for the less-than-5000-type purchase...
