Old thread, but worthy of being resurrected.

I record music at home because frankly, I'm not good at anything else! Writing music, singing and recording is my passion. I also struggle with depression. Composing and recording music uplifts my soul and mind and puts my focus onto a constructive outlet. I find that creating music and capturing it in the form of a recording is uplifting, empowering and very rewarding. I have friends who spend hours and hour of their time in front of video games, but at the end of the day they have nothing to show for their time. That to me is depressing. I like looking back on my life and seeing what I did with my time. It keeps me going!

I went back to see if I posted anything on this thread....and found out that I actually started it.

I still know why.
