Avantone - Connection Question

I just purchased some Avatone speakers that I will like to start using but I am not sure about how to connect the cables.

The cables come with a plastic cap and I don't know if I need to take this plastic cap off the cable before plugiing the cable into the monitor. The cap is held by some sort of strong adhesive. It can come off but with great force. Any ideas? (ps I tried the manual)

Here are some pics:

Hi tomatobasil we are the UK Supplier and Rep for Avantone and we can confirm you can leave the cap on as it is. Do not remove it.

Hi everyone,

I spoke with an Avantone representative and they told me the plastic cap can be left on or off. The cap will eventually cap will come off. It was intended as a an extra security feature but to strong of an adhesive was used. Therefore, you can take it off yourself or just let it be. Thank you all for your help!
