getting 16 channels into an iMac

Hi,
I'm redoing my studio and would like to be able to get 16 channels into an iMac.

I was considering getting 2 Audient ASP008 (I like the pre's) going through an SSL Alpha link. Then to get that into an iMac I'd need a Digico UB Madi.

I then looked at the price!!!!

Can anyone suggest a better and cheaper way of getting 2 Audients into an iMac?

Thanks
Steve

I think you could use a pair of behringer ada8000's set up as an aggregate device as long as your asp008's have the adat option installed.
