Clean or transparent 500 series tracking compressor?

Any recommendations for a clean or transparent 500 series tracking compressor?

I freally liked the Inward Connections Brute. Excellent LA3Aish compressor.

I've been interested in trying out the P501 from Safe Sound Audio which seems to fit the bill, as well as the Lipinski L627 which claims a .01s attack time!

The Safe Sound P501 is definitely among the cleanest you will find in 500 for sure. Great units and easy to dial in.

One of the two new Aphex 500 comps is clean however if you want a non-500 series option that will do the same job for less money look up threads here on the Aphex Expressor and Compellor units. If you need a lot of them then look at their module versions using the old 9000 series rack where the market price is around $100 per used comp module (one of the better bargains that is not that rare to find).

There will be many comps that do clean well.
