Hello, it has already been stated that offers the mxl line with an entirely diffrent badging/naming system. But I am trying to make some sense out of it. and try to identify each model and its regular branding counterparts.

Does anyone know if the microphone shown at
as MXL 909 , is the same microphone found elsewhere, known as MXL V57m

What do you know of the mxl 960, is it any good? Is it the same as the v76t found elsewhere. How does the v76t compare to the highly regarded v77?

Any help on clearing this up would be greatly appreciated.

It's the same as MXL 870 UtMXLility
It's an Okay mic for vocals, and some acoustics, but not really Pro quality. That being said, I bought one myself, couldn't resist the price.
