Royer R122 clip/shockmount, any ideas?

Just wondering if anyone has any affordable solutions for a r122 mic clip...i'd prefer not to spend $200 (the price on royer's mount) on some real gear instead of a shockmount, but i also wanna keep my 122 in good condition. Anything under like $75 is pretty acceptable to pay, seeing as what i invested in the mic in the first place.

thanks!

That's what I've been using for the past few years with the 121, works great.

I also like the $50. AT8415 for the Royer 122...

Very maneuverable...

Another vote for the Audio-Technica AT8410a. I asked this question about six months and this was suggested by a few people, so I took the plunge.

Couldn't be happier ( well as happy as a shock could make you )

Why would Royer cockblock themselves by charging $250 for a bloody shockmount?!?! Do they WANT to go broke?!?!?

I bought one of their RSM-1's when I got my 121, and though it is nice, I think that $225 is too steep a price for something like that.

The AT84 is $75 Bucks

If you got the dough; the Enhanced M600 is the best mount I've ever used, and I will suggest its worth the price of admission.

Actually the Audio Technica shock mount they're talking about is $55 most places.

I might be mixing this up but I have some recollection of having used a Shure 57/58 shockmount and that it worked fine, was a solid fit and that there was no danger of it falling.

I have four AT shock mount's and they're good, not too pricey and reliable. I also used my R121's with plastic clips (even the ones that come stock with a 57) and never had a problem. Whatever works I'd say....

Watch Ebay for them. I found a dealer that was dumping a bunch of them on Ebay and picked up 6 at $20 each. This was a while back.

I use the Rode SM4 with my R121 (so I assume it would be fine with the 122) - and it's cheaper than the AT one..
