Audio Interface advice needed

Hi

I have been very indecisive choosing an audio interface.

My choices are between MOTU Traveler Mk3 and Roland Octa-Capture.
What I'm after is simply good preamp sounds(low noise as possible),
mobility and smooth operation(I'm a Mac user).

I've heard that the octa-capture has warm sounding pres.
I owned an original Traveler and the sound wasn't that great.

Has anyone had experience comparing those two?

Please help me decide

Thanks

You're going to get lots of opinions, some of which will actually be from those who own one or the other of these. The best opinion you can get is from your own ears. Audition them as neutrally as possible using material you know extremely well, and you should have your answer. Personally, I've found that at any given price point, the major differences between interfaces are in their features, but do use your ears and convince yourself.
