RME UCX's great, but the sound is fatiguing for me

Hi, I have switched from MOTU UltraLite-mk3 Hybrid to RME UCX.

-The resolution and clarity of sound are better.
-The driver stability is better with my Mac.
-The clarity of Mic Preamp is better.
-The function of AutoSet works great.

However, the sound (especially from my speakers) is fatiguing for me when I listen to music through the RME UCX. Now I cannot enjoy the tracks which I loved much when I was using MOTU UltraLite-mk3, or when I listen to with iPhone and good earphones.
It's great for work, but not so good for enjoying music for me.
I would like to be able to enjoy music with my production system, because it will be very difficult to make a decision at mixing if my reference track sounds fatiguingly.

Could anyone give me advise?
At RME User Forum, I got the advice of putting a tube preamp between the RME UCX and speakers. Any recommended tube preamps for this usage?

If you like you could submit some test files to this thread. That might help to understand the "sound" of the UCX, if it really has one plus it would be good to get some results for one of RME's newest interfaces.
