Anyone running SSl Alphalink & Mixtreme card on Windows 7?

Hey all - I've just finished a large computer rebuild and gone from Windows XP (32) to Windows 7 (32). Since, i've just been using my trusty M-Audio FW410, but want to reinstall my SSl Alphalink/Mixtreme 64 pairing back in - I didn't do it straight away as i had the system running beautifully stable, and had read on the SSL site that any Windows 7 machines with more than 2GB of RAM weren't compatible with their pci cards?
Is this still the case? I'm on 3.5GB, and do use it - Am i better off selling the Mixtreme and going for something else, or....?

Any help or info would be of great help!!

Interested to know as well. I'd move this Thread to the Computer Music Section. You'll get more responses.

You are blending two models together: do you have Mixpander PCI or MADIextreme 64 PCIe?

Ah apologies, i have the Madiextreme 64 pcie card.
Is this a known issue still, or should i be thinking of losing this card and going RME or similar to get the Alphalink in and out of the PC?

The RAM limitation only exists with the old Mixpander system to my knowledge. You should be perfectly fine, I think you are confusing their statement about old PCI cards vs the new PCIe MADI versions which are totally different.

Ah fabulous. I shall install the card in that case and see how it goes
