Line level snakes, help me choose.

I am going to be making some snakes soon to connect my mic pres to my converters. I'm choosing between MOGAMI W2932 and GEPCO GA72408GFC. Can I wrong with either? is there any advantage to using the same brand after the preamps as the mic cable before them?

Have you considered Cat6 cable? Use all 4 pairs in each cable, and run a seperate conductor wire for the phantom power return. Ensure that you choose twisted pairs, not mix random wires. The twisted pairs in Cat5 or Cat6 cable give superior noise rejection, and digital cable has a far greater bandwidth than audio cable.

I don't think you would need shielding, but you could wrap the whole lot in aluminium foil and ground it at one end. Or use some metal tubing and ground that.

I can tell you that you won't go wrong with the Mogami. The Canare is most likely fine too, but I don't have any personal experience with it.
