New word for solo and cut

So I'm fixin up this console and I found the cheapest way to do the solo and cut button caps is to get the old oned laser engraved. The SSL ones are 10 buck each and I need 80 so that aint happenin. I thought maybe I'll put some new words on there for instance instead of 'cut' I may put 'die' on there. Any one got any other siggestions, with a maximum of 4 letters. Shut the f&%k up is too long.
The best I 've come up with for solo is 'ugly' bcause all my stuff sounds sh!t when you solo it. Oh, hang on, it sounds sh!t when you unsolo it too.

Solo and Mute would be too normal?

Solo & Kill?

Love & Hate?

What about symbols - Skull and Crossbone?

instead of mute you could have "Nope" or "Gone"

For solo how about "only"

That might confuse people...gets my vote!

How about "SUCK" and "BLOW"???

I've always wanted a piece of gear with a real 'suck' knob or button... heh

ooo......suck and blow...I like that. The symbol thing could work too, but could cost more to laser in. I should point out this is my own studio, I don't hire it out but I let a few friends do some rough mixes here if they are in a pinch. Jay, we have a company that does electronic supplies here called Jaycar. You should sue em.
Thanks for the suggestions so far.

"this" and "that"

"yay" and "nay"

"yes" and "no"

"ok" and "ixnay"

"do" and "don't"

"show" and "hide"

"live" and "die"

"hi" and "bye"

"here" and "there"

"top" and "bottom"

"huh?" and "OK!"

"go" and "stop"

"poop" and "pee" (cause you'll laugh every time you press them..."could you make the guitar pee for a sec? Then just poop on the bass")

"shock" and "awe" (dunno why, but you could think of some sort of justification)

Hey Led,

who is doing the engraving? I need about 200 pushbutton caps done for my Soundtracs but no one here in Sydney seems to want to touch such a project... I assume you are supplying them with the caps?

Shock and awe - awe are my initials.
Hey Ziggy, I plan to use the caps already on my desk. i'm planning on using a small place in Melbourne but haven't contacted them yet as I'm short on cash for a few weeks. I'll go find the place, they do it by mail if you want.

I like it, kinda like the Funk Logic trays for the RNLAs:

"Acceleration," "Compression," "Speed," "Brakes," "Exhaust," "Tachometer," "Turbo," and "Cruise."

Great for confusing freelancers.

MATE & ENMY (or NME)

JOHN and PAUL - if a Beatles fan.

JFK and JEH (J Edgar Hoover) if into politics (or cross dressing)

STAR and TREK would be cool

as would RED and DWRF (yes, geek and gearslut)

Are you going to do the auxes too? I reckon BISH, BOSH, BASH would be great (if you had only 3, which is unlikely)
