Are Focusrite ISA 428 A/D's beter than RME fireface
I'm thinking of getting the ISA 428 with the digial option, with the digital optional you have 8 channel of focusrite A/D converters. So I can use the first 4 for the focusrite Pre's and the other 4 for my other Pre-amps.
Before I go spending another 500 euro on the digital card i want to know how good they are.
SO, does anyone know if the focusrite A/D's better than the RME's A/D's???
I've got the 428 with digital card. I've also got 2 RME 8 I/O 48k converter boxes.
They're in the same ballpark. I'd give a slight edge to the ISA428.
I do recommend the ISA428 as a pre/converter. It's extremely flexible. I wouldn't want to sell mine.
