Experience with BLA Behringer ADA 8000 mod?

I have an ADA 8000 and was thinking about getting the mod.

Any input?

Given how cheap the ADA8000 is and how prone they are to break down or have the frying eggs sound (google if you're unsure about this), I'd say the BLA mod should be cost effective.

Here for the gear

I've had mine modded 3 years ago, and love the results. It's now much more open and warm sounding. The newer ADA 8000's are candidates for their "full mod" which involves a little more than what they did to mine, and apparently makes it even better. I'd say go for it.

I must say that I love finding reasons to give BLA my money, but there is one really big obstacle here. They don't change the faceplate. I would actually pay about $100 more to have something other then Behringer on the front of any device I have in my rig.

I'll just put tape over the behringer name and write apogee on it.

well then here you go:

Front Panel Express

Design it yourself with the free software, it will end up costing about $100 give or take for the panel.

Not the cheapest option out there but the quality is great.

It's times like this that I wish we could "Like" things here.
