modify a mixers fixed frequency bands?

modify a mixers fixed frequency bands?

how difficult is it to modify an eqs fixed frequencies on a mixer? possibly with a couple switches? (in this case an old soundcraft 200)

in other words what controls the frequency point in an eq circuit? resistance values or capacitor values? or is it more complicated than that.
