Shockmount options for TLM-103

Does anyone have any recommendations for something that looks cool (and is functional, of course) for less than the $200 Neumann EA-1?

You could try the one samson makes to go with their mics (not that you'd want to buy the mic) for like $30 and you pop out the threaded part on the mount and you may be able to use that for your tlm... it may require a tad of modification, though. (grinding the hole wider w/ a dremel) but I don't remember how wide the base of the 103 is... I think it should work as is.

The samson Spo1 flipped upside down is the best choice for your mod, better than the sp04 even though the spo4 looks a lot like the Neumann ea-01. Also the newest akg 414 shock mount works real well except you have to loosten the mike every time you unplug the cord because you cant reach the xlr release up in the mount. My company is developing an adapter for the neumann to fit the samsons. sonically and structually they are nice mounts. if you want to email me i can let you know when they come out.

Well this Neumann bull**** with acc. is a real pain in the ass .
When you think about it ,you bought your tlm 103 but now you can record only if you are laying down on the floor cos you dont have the shock mount for the mic. And you know what else, if you decide to buy any other neumann mic and its not tlm 193 you cant use that one with shock mount from tlm 103 but you have to pay even more for the next original ****ing neumann shock mount. And guess what else , if something breaks and you have to fix it you`d pay for the ****in 20 cent screw like 30 euros to order it from neumann and u have to wait for it for another 8 weeks .
If you really think about it for the price of a shock mount for tlm 103 you can buy 2 oktavas or similar with shock mount or one AT with everything you need and ready to go .... It is really ****ed up
This guys are really ****ed and they think they are above the industry but they are making one of the best sounding mics out there .....
