Remote for a Yamaha Mixer like a Tranzport

Does anyone make a remote that would work with a Yamaha 01V96 mixer to control simple fader changes and paning? I want to do this from the vocal booth. I love my Tranzport for controlling the transport of my DAW. I really need the same type of device for the mixer. It is a big pain to be recording a vocal and just want to make minor adjustments. You know the drill. Sit down. Get up. Go out of the booth. Make a minor adjustment. Go back. Sit Down. Do it again. Takes all the fun out of recording sometimes.

Someone should make one.

Thanks..

You could use a laptop running Studio Manager. Add one of these boxes:

to run it over ethernet or plug that into a wireless router to control it over WiFi...

Thanks... Now that is something to think about. Since this is in a vocal booth you would have to have a realy quiet one. I just want simple. Really simple. A few layer buttons, one fader contol, one pan control.

I just wish someone would come up with something smiple like the tranzport. You would think that there would be a market for something like this. I love the Tranzport. It would be great if there was something that could tie into Studio Manager to make the fader moves.

Oh, well, worth a try.
