How to get amplitube into my session PT LE?

I have the ignition factory bundle and received live, reason, bfd-lite and t-racks-amplitube and sampletank. How do I get using amplitube??? I can't EVEN find it , though it is in my start menu. I am guessing that it only opens in PT?

Yeah its a plug-in. Not standalone.

From memory it appears in the other section of the Plug-In list.

Also, it may be a mono/multimono plug. ie: Insert it on a mono channel, or select it from the multi mono list not stereo if using on a stereo channel.

Its been a while......

The version that comes with Pro Tool LE is a plug in that will only work in PT. It should open in a mono channel. If you want a standalone program, you can download Amplitube Uno for free. There is a lot of latency though!

latency is controlled by the sound card buffer, AT itself has no latency.

So why in the mix window, under mono insert tab, there isn't anything I can find that says amplitube or anything of the like? What should I be looking for?

The free UNO works fine here, without much latency, but you'll need to adjust your soundcard buffer for that to a maximun of 128.

I am not trying to be a smartass, but did you install the plugin?

Look at this location Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plug-Ins

And see if you find an amplitube RTAS plugin in that folder.

I am on a PC and I think it is installed correctly....

I went to program files/common files/Digidesign/DAE/Plug in settings .... and I see amplitube LE

But I went to program files/common files/Digidesign/DAE/Plug ins I only see Tracks.dpm and Sampletank.dpm

what next?
