Can you use outboard converters w/ the Alesis HD24?

Something like a 2 channel Rosetta? I'm guessing the only way would be to go into it via the ADAT optical input.

Doesn't seem like this would work though, unless the Rosetta has ADAT outs.

Maybe something like the RME Fireface that has ADAT outs...

Anything with ADAT will work 100%.

I use an RME ADI 4DD to convert AES to ADAT optical. Works like a charm.
