I've just permanently attached the 421 clips with several wrappings of black electrical tape, around the mic and the clip itself. I don't think they're going to fall now!

421 sound good on toms, have not tried the 904. I seem to go to my ND468 because they sound great and are so easy to place, good on snare drum too. M88TG and 441 also get a great tom sound, out of mics I've tried.

thanks Han!
+1 on that
Do you attach the bottom to the original clip, or just force them in place?

The original clips are made of sugar i think.
