Tube question: Loss of low end on microphone

I swear my CV4 had more low end at one point. When I use a spectrum analyzer with vocals, 200 hz is about as low as it's showing with rumblings in the 60 hz region. I guess vox don't really go lower than around 200, but I swear the mic seems more mid-rangey than it once was...Could this be a tube going bad, or is this just all psychosomatic?

What's the pattern set to? I ask because my CV4 seems to have less low end in cardioid (the one at the top) than it does the next one over to the right (super cardiod?). That may be just more proximity effect with that pattern, but maybe something like that is going on.

I've been a little unhappy with the connectors. The mic out at the power supply isn't a good positive lock and I've had some signal loss there, just in case that's affecting something.
