Help Me buy some plugins please! £1500 Budget

Ok,

I've been posting a bit in other forums over the past few weeks as I'm getting some new gear including some good Lunchbox Pre's, an RME UFX, a new Mac Pro (the big boy) and some new mics and guitars etc etc

Anyways, one of the Plugin bundles that's gone into my budget is the New NI Komplete Ultimate (even though I've just emailed them to see if the foot kontrol for Guitar rig comes with it as I've got a really old one from Guitar rig 1!)

Ok, So within my LunchBox rack I was tempted to put a Shadow Hills Dual Vandergraph for a Mix Bus comp but I'm not convinced this is the best solution for me just yet.

See... I MUST get some Waves plugins.

The API 2500 seems to get big mucho in these forums and other places like SOund on SOund etc. It seems that this may be my solution until I can have another spending spree.

But it would be lovely if people could let me know their favourite 'go to' plugins for use over a variety of applications (IE : Classical to Rock) I have a budget of up to £1500 for the Plugins. (Not including Komplete but including API)

Any help/advice greatly appreciated as always!

I like Sonnox Oxford Transmod for transients.

It makes beats start faster is the only way I can explain it.

And Voxengo Elephant for a brick wall limiter.

Personally these have become essential plugs.
There's so much great stuff out there.

LOVING the look of this one you suggested : DDMF IIEQ Pro

See, I use Apple's Graphic EQ a lot and could do with something similar but better quality.

Ace! Any more suggestions of Graphic EQs? The API one looks juicy although could do with more bands ideally.

I'm loving the Softube Tube-Tech CL1B for about $300. Really really nice compressor for vocals and bass!

Another great one from DDMF is the NY compressor, something that I use a lot, also for buss at mixing and even mastering purposes. Transparent for the lows , and it´s a bargain (well, all the bundle is $99...).Good stuff. Also does M/S
