spx90 whining noise

I have a whining noise with my spx-90. I know they are noisy but this is crazy. Do you know what the problem could be or if they just are this noisy? Spx90 is unbalanced.

that is a nightmare and is a combination of earth hum and something else...
quite major!
you have to fault find in the traditional way...isolate and work through the whole way it is connected up.
my spx90 burst into flames in the rack....glad i was there at the exact moment.
i miss that special chorus'y thing it did
get your one a service ?..

Check your power supply, it sounds (no pun intended) nearly dead.

Buy it a dozen roses....take it out to dinner.

The whining will stop.....at least for a few days.

but seriously...do not have it in use until it is checked over and fixed if applicable.
as i said...my spx90 has been the only unit to catch fire!
it's a pretty tight squeeze in those units..
if you dont...then get FRESH batteries for your fire alarms and leave the security sensor alarm on if you GO OUT THE ROOM...

Phew....just wanted to state that....

How far have you gone with troubleshooting? Have you tried it in different systems, different locations (racked/unracked), different power circuits, different cables, etc.?
