Monitors to compliment Mix Cube?

I've been enjoying mixing between akg 240K headphones and a mono mix cube, but it looks like monitors are a good idea.

So yeah, what's good dudes?

EDIT: I've read all (haha) the threads about monitors under a grand, so I'm sure a7x and bm5a will get a call out, but the a7x is hard to find 2nd hand, and I guess I'm interested to know if there's any monitor in the "one level above being crap" level that particuarily contrasts with this little fellow.

We think that the Yamaha HS80m's are great monitors for the money!
You should be able to get a pair for $550-$700

Yeah, I think I've got that sound covered by the mix cube.

The HS80m would have extended frequency, but apart from that I think looking for, basically, the opposite of what you just said.

(Sorry, I should add, that's just judging from yamaha's marketing saying they're in the tradition of the ns10 etc)
