help me to identify this mic

Hi all,

I bougth 2 of them 10 years ago, Schoeps of course, but wich one ?

I saw I could change the polar pattern, but I didn't dare cause they look so old. I use them on acoustic guitar, percussions and sometimes vocals

bougth them around 800 $ both

The caps should be MK5 Colette series.

I don't know for the bodies, but it should be written on it.

It's a pity to have such good microphones in such a cosmetic condition.
I don't mean it's your fault, I presume you got them in such a condition (it explains the low price you bought them).
My CMC6XT/MK4 pair is 9 years old and they look (and work) as new ones.

With the the serial n° and asking to Schoeps site, you would have the exact aswer.

merci pour tes précisions.
oui, je les ai eut comme ça, apparemment ils viennent de Radio France. Du gros gaffeur colé sur le corps pour pouvoir les fixer sur une pince de 58 .....
cabossés, mais en etat de marche.

je vais peut etre tenter d' en cleaner un pour voir le numéro de serie....
