Cad M179 and Jolly Modded 319?

I was reading reviews about the Cad M179 on Amazon, and a guy who has both said that they are really similar. Anyone else compared these two and came up with the similar thoughts?

I guess similarity is in the ear of the beholder, but I wouldn't consider them similar at all. The MJ319 is dark, smokey and woody sounding with tons of mojo - a specialty mic IMO that's very vibey. The 179 is great sounding also, my favorite on toms, but it's clear and deep sounding. Very natural. I agree that the bleed on the 179 is very complementary to drums. My go to for toms, but that's where it ends for me. I've got a lot of other mics though.. I find them on the opposite end of the spectrum for FET mics. Hard to put these things into words.
