Mix TDM-Does it take less chips if you use the Y cable for 2 interfaces?

Trying to make the most of my processing chips in my Mix cubed system and I have 3 interfaces. I was wondering whether you save more processing chips if you have 2 interfaces connected to 1 card using those Y cables.

Does that mean, on the 1 card, it will show only 1 chip used for the 2 interfaces because at the moment using single cables per interface to each card takes up a chip each per interface.

Nope. It all has to do with the voice count and actual tracks created. Nothing to do with how you connect the interfaces.

OIC. So if I connect 2 interface using a Y cable into the Mixcore card for example. I would still see 2 chips used in my software!
