Mbox 3 or Roland Quad-Capture

Would someone be so kind as to provide me with some advice.

I'm trying to decide which one of the above audio interfaces would be most suitable for me.

I'll basically only be using the interface to record electric guitars (with amp sims/impulses) and possibly in the future; to record acoustic guitars (once I can afford a decent mic).

So the Mbox 3 comes with Pro Tools Le while the Quad-Capture comes with Sonar X1 le. I have been using Cubase for a few years and am quite fond of Cubase 5, however I don't mind changing DAW though. The Quad Capture is looking good so far since it's only $99 to upgrade to X1. I'm busy downloading the Sonar X1 trial to give it a go right now.

Anyway.

I've been reading on various forums about how the Quad-capture's drivers are rock solid and it's VS streaming allows for impressively low latency.

The pre-amps are also meant to be impressive. Can anyone tell me whether they are in the same league as the Mbox3 as I've heard the Mbox's are meant to be great? Or whether I would actually even notice a difference?

Are the Mbox's drivers also as stable and low latency enabling as the Quad-capture's are?

Obviously the Quad-capture's cheaper price is also an important factor for me. The auto-sens feature also sounds pretty cool.

Also, are there any known compatibility issues with my machine with either of the devices?

I am using a MSI FX 720 laptop.
Specs:
-Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz
-8Gb DDR III RAM
-750 Gb 7200RPM Hard drive
-Intel HM 65 chipset
-Nvidia Geforce Gt 520
-Windows 7 Ultimate Edition (64-bit) Service Pack 1 (Build 7601)

Any input would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance.

What did you use?

What interface did you end up using? I am trying to decide now between the Mbox Pro and the Roland Quad Capture. Wondering which one is best to use.

Thanks,
Rob G.

Hey, I ended up getting the Quad-Capture. I think it's great. I still don't know how it compares to the Mbox 3 but it's been doing just fine for me. I've been using it with Cubase 6 and have had no problems.
