A&H System 8 1616 - Qs

Hi,

Does the 1616 version have individual outs for each channel?

Im really taken with the System 8 but need individual outs per track.

Also how do you get around the stereo out being a jack plug lol. Where do I plug my powered mons?

In spite of what you may read. In my book system8 the s..t. Im a system8 believer. i bought my Mk3 25 years ago and am still happy with it. Never needed any repairs except the vu lamps and in my opinion it has a sound you cant touch with a berry, yamaha, or any mackie although onyx does have a sound I like. System8 was once a staple in home and project studios due to its sound annd reasonable prices. They were a cut above any Japanese brand available. Until the arrival of the mackie 8 bus in my mind there was very little competition. It still has that british sound but by todays standards its features are very dated. Only three aux etc etc. If the price is right..... It still has THAT sound.

Hi mate,

Thanks. Yeah im not so fussed on features. I have a DAW for that. I just much prefer channel EQing OTB by a mile.

So, do they have individual outs on each channel.
