Zero, none, nada, zip.

I do have plenty of tubes in the shop. Even more in my collection of guitar amps. Studio recording? None.

I sold off my custom tube mic preamps too. All silicon here.

That computer is killer: old enough they're using metal can dual triodes (6SN7s?) which were notoriously noisy and drifted...

As for tubes, if you count guitar amplifiers, it'd be somewhere north of 300...

Jim, can you mod my Soundcraft to add tubes to the master section? Maybe even a little window so you can see them glowing, I understand that makes it sound better. They don't even need to be in the signal path...

But often 17. And a box full somewhere in my workshop. heh

Just three tubes in my studio gear (plenty in my amps whatsoever). That's two ART VLA compressors I barely use and a Demeter compressor I never liked and never use. Just collects dust. I want to sell them all.

EDIT: Ooops, it's five tubes. The VLAs have two tubes each!

Men you guys are hardcore.

Tube envy alert.

I got 4 + 1 = 5.

1's from my Neumann M149 tube mic which I love to death lol.

Just patch in a Urei 175 with the side chain switched off. That's a nice tube line stage that will mush it all up for you.
