Microphone Repair people?

Prob not best heading

But i am having trouble with my gefell 71 when I put the phantom power on it has power for few secs then cuts off

So im wondering is there any person/company to send it to for repairs?

Send it to the Gefell main agent in Ireland.

I would only get a mic. looked at by the original manufacturer and no-one else.

Agreed, but Ben is in Australia and Klaus is in Germany.

The cost of shipping across the world is not cheap and you could run into Customs problems on the return.

Germany (EU) is OK - but then I would send it back to Gefell themselves rather than someone else - unless you want a mod. done.

Klaus lives and works in US already for many years.

The customs should not be a problem if before shipping you take a note at the post office with S/N of your mic. Then on top of that on the way back I mark the customs form as 'Customer belonging, repair return'. Never ever had a single problem and I send overseas repair orders all the time.
