digi 192 i/o question. Digital Converters

digi 192 i/o question.

found a lot of info about this but not about my questions specifically.

I have 2x digi192 interfaces. One has the 8 in analog card and one has the 8 out analog card. So a total of 24 analog i/o between both 192's.

Here is the million dollar question. I want to bump that up to 32 i/o simultaneously. CAN I? Am I able to use the analog AND digital i/o at the same time? if so, is there an issue with running the digital side of the i/o as analog? meaning, analog mogami cables, neutrik connectors straight into the i/o of my console? how do i deal with callibation? Do I use the +4 versus -10 trip pots?

probably an easy NO, but i'm looking for any knowledge about using both analog and AES at the same time.

yes, more than one question..sorry.

mainly i was wanting to know HOW to use both the analog and AES ins and outs at the same time to get 8 more i/o past the 24 analog i/o that i have now. So i would need to get an 8 io converter, ie, aurora8, apogee rosetta 800, etc?
