There is a problem with the grid lines disspearing in slip mode, but not in other modes. Easy avoided using grid and just slipping in and out of slip mode using key commands.

First of all, I wouldn't ever upgrade if everything runs fine.
NEVER TOUCH A RUNNING SYSTEM.

But still, I upgraded to 9.0.2 on my Windows 7/64 Core-i5 Digi 002R rig and it runs quite fine. The loading time seemed to increase, though where like 30 seconds spent in the splash screen saying "Initializing Controllers" or something like that.

Pro Tools 9.0.2

Last night when I booted up it said "critical update available" which led to a webpage to download 9.0.2. Haven't had this before even though the .2 has been out for awhile. I'm kind of in the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" camp. But maybe some things will work better. This has been out long enough to get used by a few folks.

I was wondering the same thing. They say it's "critical" but not WHY it's critical. I've never seen them do something like that before so I was a little nervous. However, as others have mentioned, I'm stable now so I'm not going to update until I see features that I want/need in a future update.
