How to Maintain Objectivity on Long Term Projects and Personal Projects

I'm getting very close to the mixing stages of a couple of personal projects and some other projects that have dragged out for several years. By now I've heard so many rough mixes that I'm having trouble feeling any sense of objectivity. Is this a concern for anyone else? How do you deal with it?

Here for the gear

This is a common problem. 2 options:

-take a good break and then mix the song in a day or two
- have someone else to mix the song
