Say, uh, did Fletcher ever get to listen to his Portico?

Man, it's really snowing in the tri-state area today.

Blast9,

Yes. Some good folks here recommended the Harmonic Design Super 90 for the bridge position and the vintage plus for the neck position.

I read some really wonderful reviews on these and a lot of great players use them so I figured that I would give these a try first. They are supposed to sound like Gibson P-90's but in a Telecaster size. I am very excited to pop them in and hear what they can do for my Telecaster.

Yes I did.

You will find them on the M-A site by the end of next week.

I thought the mic pre was lovely... the "Tape Emulator"... I dunno about that... but the pre-amp is exceptionally nice texture that compliments the other stuff in my arsenal quite nicely.

I'd show you a picture but I'm afraid I don't look very good in red... it's just not my color.

Well. Ask a stupid question, get a decent answer. Didn't realize they'd actually gotten worked over in your shop as of yet. Thanks.

Seems as if a few folks here have shipped their tape emulators back, but I believe at least one review was favorable. Hell, I just use scotch tape, myself. Sorry for the OT.

C'mon, Fletch, show us your boobs heh

Ok. This is the second thread I've seen so far with a headless Jacklynn holding a Portico and a Royer mic. Don't get me wrong, that is an excellent picture. But what are you trying to do to me? You talk about gear and telecaster pickups, my two favorite things in the world. Where have you been all of my life?

If I had a pair like that to play with, I'd never leave home... Err, the studio.

You're such a PARENT, sometimes - and yet, we all have the same obvious question. I have to say, though, Don Pedro almost made me cry from laughing - my stomach's hurting.
