Sluttiest way of adding two mic channels via ADAT

Under $1400;
What is the slickest, sluttiest and best way of adding two DECENT mic channels via ADAT?

On for instance RME Babyface. Need it mainly to add two coles 4038

Audient Mico with Audient 2 channel preamps of ASP008 with Spdif (rca, toslink)/AES digital & analog xlr outputs along with a nice A/D conversion under $700 heh

Incredibly good value for money! check the link below. some guy says some good things about his mico!

Audient Mico

I'm using the Audient Mico, the preamps are great, the AD conversion sounds great, you get some added harmonics to give you some tube vibe on channel one, the second channel has a variable phase control. You can connect via SPDIF and TosLink(Adat) optical for 2 channels of digital output or you can go analog out as well. It totally rocks!

the audient is a great value and sounds really good.

you can save up more $ and get the lavry AD11

Save up $500 more and get the api a2d. Or get one used. You will never be sorry.

I am thinking about going for the UA 4-710d, not quite the api, but 8 extra channels, and 4 preamps with limiters. incredible bang for the buck. $2000, but im sure you could wait for one used.
