PMC TB2S-AII and TLE1S sub in 2.1 and 5.1 - no bass management? Studio Monitors

PMC TB2S-AII and TLE1S sub in 2.1 and 5.1 - no bass management?

From what I can see the PMC TLE1S sub does not include a HPF for the satellites, it just has two inputs, with a variable LPF. So is is correct that PMC suggest the following:

In a 2.1 setup (2x TB2S-AII, 1x TLES): set the LPF on the sub to around 40Hz so we're using the satellites natural LF roll-off? The sub will the provide the 25-40Hz range?

In a 5.1 setup (5x TB2S-AII, 1x TLES): Just use the subwoofer for the LFE channel, and set its LPF to 120Hz (as per Dolby spec). So there is no bass management? What about the 20-40Hz range on the LCR? Or is there need for a set of separate crossovers? I don't think PMC would provide these?

Kind regards,
