Pro tools 8 / 9 PC users - working well?

Hey guys, whats the general consensus regarding pro tools stability on a pc?

Obviously i'm thinking of a properly configured machine, optimised for audio.

thanks, Michael

I'm a newbie to PT9 - made the switch to it from Cubase 4/5 back in November. I run it on Windows 7 on a nice little RAID 0 config and it's great. It has a few annoyances - like if I change the clock setting on my Lavry/interface, sometimes PT just doesn't like it and I have to restart the program 2 or 3 times (instead of just once). Other than that, I've really been happy with it. Hopefully some others who came from PT7 or PT8 will chime in to give their feedback too.

I run HD8.1 on a PC and have no issues with it being stable.

I've had a couple of crashes in 8, but it is more stable than 7 and it seems it's more plugins than PT. I have been pretty satisfied, going to buy 9 at some point (Need to ugrade my pc first).
