is word clock necessary in this case?

my main interface is a FF800. I want to use the FF800 outs for summing so I just bought an ADA8000 to use to output stems to my Furman HDS-6 headphone distribution amp. I'm going to output the stems from the FF800 to the ADA8000 via ADAT. is there any reason that I would need to run word clock to the ADA8000? I suppose I could if I had to, but I'd have to get another BNC and a splitter as I'm currently clocking my ISA428 from the FF800.

thnx...

The ADA8000 will get it's clock off ADAT.

I guess that's true. I was just wondering if it was even necessary...
