calibration of ua 8110 to digi 192

My Digi 192 clips on input well before the ua 8110 output does. Does anybody know the best procedure for calibrating in this particular scenario?

The 8110 has dual gain controls. Just turn the "level" down so your not clipping the 192. If you want to saturate the signal, you've got the "gain" control on the 8110.

Have fun with the piece, wish I had one myself.

Side note: Also, make sure your 192 inputs are set to +4 and not -10.

Like the previous poster recommended, make sure that both units are operating at the same standard reference level: +4 dBu. In most digital gear, that reference level is calibrated to -18 dbFS, so you should aim for that as an average level while tracking and avoid peaks above -12 or -10 dBFS.
