I would recommend Izotope's Vinyl plug in (it's free). It's designed to emultate the artifacts of vinyl records. It's functions greatly surpasses it's cost.

I enjoy CamelPhat (and CamelCrunch, which is free), Audio Damage plugs, Line6 and NI for FSU. Been told Decapitator is the Holy Grail, though....

You want a bitcrusher....

......you won't get "8-bit retro sound" with a vinyl emulation plug-in, but you might want one anyway

Line 6 Pod Farm Platinum has some great ones. Works on other stuff besides guitar.

-1 for that thing ^^^^

Okay, the gain and distortion it adds to your recording might be/ could be cool, but as soon as you start adding crackle and pop to your recordings, you're a loser

maybe I'm being a little harsh on it, just for the love of god don't use the dust or scratch settings...

And yes I have used that plug, BTW

Vintage Warmer isn't exactly lo fi, but really can add edge to your tracks, use a Low Pass Filter to cut highs, this helps make a recording sound low fi...

Digital = High Freq = Clarity/Air = Sounds Hi-Fi
