This is pretty much how I do it. 1176 12:1 setting catching peaks. And BUZZ AUDIO SOC 20 at 4:1 or so (LA 3A like) to do most of the compression. Between the two I do about 10 db total for really dynamic voices, and more like 4db for flatter voices.
