pulling EDAC connectors out of patchbay

hi all,
i have 2 audio accessories patchbays that use solder-free 3-pin EDAC connectors on the back. problem is once the connectors lock in to place they are really tough to take off with your bare hands. there is hardly any space between them and you are not supposed jiggle them from side to side.

is there some tool that works well to quickly and safely remove the connectors from the bay to rewire? i sure hope there is an easier way.
